Paper and Font Sizes
Suggested minimum font sizes:
Title: 78 point type
List of authors: 72 point type
Subheading: 36 point type
Body: double spaced text: 24 point type.
Photographs: no smaller than 12cm x 18cm
Smaller fonts may be used in citations and acknowledgement.
Poster size:
A0 portrait (1189 x 841 mm) format.
PEMS invites individuals and departments to submit a poster (or multiple!) such as:

Poster submission must be emailed in .pdf form to congress@pems.ch by 11.08.2024.
Posters will be evaluated and contributors individually contacted should they be selected for PEMS congress.
Submissions will have the opportunity to briefly present their poster during the “Poster Walk” on day 1 at 11.15. Winners will be announced on day 2 at 16:30. At least one of the poster authors should be present here. There will be one prize for the best poster, awarded with CHF 100.00

Accommodation
As official housing agency of the congress, Amiconi Consulting SA has blocked a contingent of hotel rooms in several hotels to guarantee accommodation for all congress participants. Selected hotels have different star ratings, positions and prices to meet the different needs of each participant.
Rooms are offered on a first come first served basis, we recommend participants to book their accommodation as soon as possible to have a wider and better choice.
Hotel rooms are available from September 3rd or 4th to September 6th, 2024. If you need additional pre- or post-nights, if you have any special request (additional beds, wheelchair-accessible rooms, baby cribs, or other) or if you are booking for a group (more than 5 people) please contact info@amiconiconsulting.ch.
Rates are in Swiss Francs (CHF), per room and night, and include breakfast and VAT, if not differently specified in the "i" info bubble.
At check in all guests shall ask for the Ticino Ticket, a free public transportation pass valid in the Lugano/Ticino Region for the duration of their stay.
